PADI Rescue Course.

The PADI Rescue Diver course expands on what you already know. You will learn how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.
Within 5 steps you will learn:
The Psychology of Rescue, Recognizing Diver Stress, Accident Management, Assisting Responsive and Unresponsive Divers at the Surface and Underwater, Equipment Problems, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Missing Diver Procedures, Responding to Diver Emergencies and Inwater Rescue Breathing.This diving programme is prerequisite for all PADI leadership programmes. You need to be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver and to have successfully completed the PADI Emergency First Response programme or an equal end programme in CPR within the past of 24 months.

The PADI Rescue Diver programme: Self-rescue and diver stress Diving first aid Swimming and non-swimming assists Egress (exits) Surfacing the unconscious diver Underwater problems Missing diver procedures Panicked diver response In-water artificial respiration Dive accident scenarios First aid procedures for pressure related accidents Emergency management and equipment considerations.

  • Dive instructor.
  • 5 shore dives
  • Scuba equipment rental.
  • Certificate.

  • Age: 12 years, or older.
  • Depth: 9-12 m.
  • First Aid and CPR within the past two years accepted.
  • Junior must dive after certification with parents or PADI professional.
